Badeley, in addition to gaining experience of Police Work, would have an opportunity of observing the most improved methods in Fire Brigade work. I consider the Captain Superintendent of Police's proposal a very good one and I beg to request that you will be so good as to afford M. Badeley any advice and assistance in your power in carrying it out.
